Answered Prayers

This week has been a busy week. I had a visit with a new Neurologist this week due to questions and concerns I had about my disease progression. My MRI was on Monday and my visit with the Neuro was on Tuesday. I have always left everything up to how our Lord leads. Guess what? GOD SHOWED UP!! He opened the door to give me the opportunity to see Doctor Cohen. He is in charge of HSCT at the Mellen Center for MS at the Cleveland Clinic. Click here if you want to know about HSCT. Myself and many others have prayed that I would be lead to the right people to discuss and come up with the right plan for this immune system malfunction. Dr. Cohen was very compassionate (answered prayer). He worked with me to come up with a plan (answered prayer). After many questions and a lengthy discussion, we will be taking steps to start the process to get approved for HSCT over the next few months. Praise the Lord!! (ANSWERED PRAYER). God didn't stop there! Even though my MRI showed disease progression, the MRI of my spine showed that the large lesion that was the length of my cervical spine (C1-C7 vertebrae) is no longer active and it is significantly reduced. Answered prayer!

I do not know your need today. I don't know the struggle that you have in your life. God does and He cares (1 Peter 5:6-11), (Matthew 10:31). There were days that I thought that nothing was going to happen but, on Tuesday this day finally came. I have to trust God that He knows what is best. There have been days of anxiety and worry but in the end, I have always believed that God was working. Satan would lie and make me question what I was doing but, scripture reminded me of God's promises. Whatever it is give it to Him and if it seems too much to handle, reach out to a brother or sister in Christ that would be willing to listen and pray with you.

Although I am typing this blog entry, I am still in shock of what is about to happen over the next few months. Luke 5:26, And amazement seized them all, and they glorified God and were filled with awe, saying, “We have seen extraordinary things today.” I definitely saw amazing things happen this week. This new part of the journey is just starting. There is still a lot of "hoops" to jump through to get into the HSCT program. There is a lot of testing and they want to make sure that I am a good candidate for the procedure. Preliminary test look good but, they will definitely do more detailed testing. Whatever path God chooses to stop this disease, I will leave it up to Him. #WHATAP God is doing the impossible in 2020! I look forward to seeing how God is going to show up for you too! I can't wait to hear many more stories of how God did the impossible for you. Have a good evening my friends.

Until next week, enjoy this song. I hope it encourages you to trust in Him.
